Description

This three-day accredited course uses the EPA curriculum, Inspecting Buildings for Asbestos.

Learning Objectives:

  • Background, Characteristics and Health Effects of Asbestos
  • Understanding Building Systems
  • Functions, Qualifications and Role of the Inspector
  • Inspecting for Friable and Nonfriable ACBM
  • Bulk Sampling
  • Field trip in which inspections, hazard assessment and sampling techniques are applied under the guidance of experienced, licensed inspectors
