Asbestos Worker (Spanish) – Initial Course (AWI SPANISH) Part One 05/03-05/04/2025

Description

This four-day accredited course, available in Spanish, prepares students to become licensed asbestos abatement workers and meets or exceeds EPA’s AHERA requirements and OSHA standards for Class I and Class II Operations. The EPA Model Curriculum for Training Asbestos Workers is used. Worker Refresher training is also available.

Learning Objectives:

  • History and Uses of Asbestos
  • Potential Health Effects of Asbestos Exposure
  • PPE and Respirators
  • Establishing Containment and Decon Systems
  • Waste Handling and Disposal

NOTE: This course is part 1 of 2 being held over two (2) consecutive weekends.  In order to be certified, you must register for both courses.
